a Note from Kristin
I am a Christian counselor specializing in anxiety, depression, grief, stress management, shame resilience, and health struggles for adults. I have an integrative approach that engages the emotional, social, physical, and spiritual aspects of each client.
I utilize techniques from evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Strength-based Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction.
My passion is to walk alongside others to discover truth, meaning, and ways to cope in the midst of pain. With a great deal of empathy and compassion, I meet clients where they are at in their journey with God, others, and themselves. Clients are free to explore, question, doubt, and grow in a safe, non-judgmental setting. Using Scripture and the Gospel as the foundation, I endeavor to arm clients with truth, wisdom, and practical strategies to endure their challenges. I provide clients a safe space to examine their desires, beliefs, thoughts, feelings and behavior. Together, we work to create a hopeful vision for the future.
Believing in a holistic approach to wellness, I also encourage movement, Biblical meditation, and proper nutrition. It is my desire to empower others to live a life filled with love, hope, joy, peace, meaningful connection, and a clear understanding of their purpose.
